Cover Reveal for Sleeper by Amy Brock McNew

Amy Brock McNew is a dear friend of mine and I also happen to be a fan of her books.

I’m super excited that she’s releasing Sleeper as an indie author as she is a traditionally published author with her other novels.

Without farther adieu, here’s the gorgeous cover for Sleeper.

A throne with no ruler.

A beast stretching awake.

A goddess unleashed.

Makenna is a self-proclaimed freak with abilities she can’t control. She’s clawed her way through life, fighting to maintain her sanity. Her lonely existence has only fed the vicious animal within her, one she barely contains and doesn’t understand.

Rhys has prepared since birth to be alpha and king of an ancient race of wolves. Instead, he leads half a fractured clan against a depraved madman. But victory begins to slip through Rhys’s fingers. Only one thing can save them. A single requirement for him to claim the throne:

Bonding with his mate, the one warrior queen born to each generation, the incarnation of a primal warrior goddess who holds more power than any of them can imagine.

When Rhys finds Makenna, he believes the battle has shifted in his favor. He never imagined his heart would want her as much as his body. While Makenna is drawn to Rhys with terrifying intensity, his arrival triggers an acceleration in her abilities, the beast within her growing stronger than ever.

Will discovering the truth give Makenna the peace she craves, or will it ignite a savage escalation in the war, drenching their lives in blood?

Doesn’t that look and sound amazing?!

The Day I Finally Felt Like an “Author.” RELEASE WEEK: ALLURING SURRENDER: DAY 4.

The Day I Finally “Felt” Like I Was an Author
By: Author Skye Turner

About seventeen months ago, I started on this journey called self-publishing. One day in the summer of 2013, while my husband was offshore and my kids were running around my house like crazy little people, I sat at my laptop and decided to get the ideas that were living in my head… out.

I wrote like a person possessed that day. I think I wrote something like nine thousand words. It was like now that I was finally allowing the voices in my head to talk, they had so much to say.

Chaos and Censorship in the Indie World

The shit has basically hit the proverbial fan in the Indie Author World over the past few days!

Online retailers have started pulling Indie Author Books, people are losing books on their devices, authors are panicking, readers are furious…

It’s a big old mess and it’s utter chaos.

Making It Happen. Risk and Reward.

In one week, I’ve gone 1000% into marketing myself as an author.

I’ve always been a “go getter” and if I choose to do something, then I’m going to DO it.

I don’t do anything half ass, and for me, if I’m going to take the time to do something (because my time is in pretty short supply as it is), then I’m going to give it my all.

If I dedicate the time and energy, I expect silver linings at the end. Continue reading
